Special Notes: Please leave all of your valuables at home. Ouachita Mountain recovery is not responsible for any of your belongings or valuables. What documentation should I bring when I'm accepted? Identification. Please bring a picture identification card that has your social security number on it OR a picture identification card and your social security card. Please bring (if available) a copy of your GED, High School Diploma, High School Transcript etc. for Drivers License or employment purposes. The payment schedule for the Ouachita Mountain Recovery Center is listed below: Residents are expected to pay for two weeks at $80.00 per week on the date of acceptance unless other arrangements have been made with the director or designated personnel of OMR. Then $80.00 week thereafter no later than Sunday evening Special Notes: (1) Aerosol products, products containing alcohol and all other products deemed inappropriate or unsafe by the OMR Staff will not be permitted on the premises. (2) OMR staff, at its own discretion, shall determine what is inappropriate attire. (3) Upon Acceptance, OMR staff will examine all of your personal belongings before they are allowed. (4) At the time of Acceptance, male residents should have a fresh haircut and be clean shaven. Mustaches and well maintained beards are permitted; [2 day growth and chin whiskers are not permitted.] What is appropriate dress? 1. Casual clothing such as jeans and regular shirts and comfortable shoes. 2, Shorts are permitted. (appropriate-length). 3.Skirts and dresses. 4. Form-fitting clothing, including Lycra tights or biking or running shorts, are not permitted. No low-cut tops, or tank tops. Bare midriffs are unacceptable, as are sleeveless t-shirts, stretch tank tops, mini skirts, and crop tops. 5. Jeans and clothing must not have suggestive tears or cutouts. 6. Undergarments are required for all residents. 7. Regular sports shirts and undershirts (undershirts and sleeveless shirts cannot be worn alone as shirts). 8. Clothing depicting sex, drugs, alcohol, violence, any advertising or gambling are NOT permitted. 9. Earrings are permitted; Visible piercings on all other body parts are not permitted for both men and women. 10. Belts (Required for baggy pants). 11. Pajamas, robe and slippers. 12. Shower Shoes. 13. Caps. 14. Swim Suit What toiletries and other personal belongings should I bring with me? 1. Towels (2) and washcloths (2). 2. Personal hygiene products (e.g., shaving cream, shampoo, soap, talcum powder, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes and aftershave/cologne (non-aerosol and nonalcoholic only). 3. Feminine hygiene products. 4. Cigarettes, tobacco, smokeless tobacco etc. 5. Prescription medications (in the appropriately labeled prescription bottle). 6. Laundry detergent. 7. Stationary supplies, writing paper, pens, envelopes and stamps. 8. Electric or disposable Safety razors (the only type allowed). 9. Reading materials are limited to recovery-related topics 10. Electrical items, such as hair dryers, curling irons and electric shavers, will be checked for safety. 11. Personal vehicles for individuals in the Ouachita Mountain Recovery Center are allowed on the premises as long as you valid driver's license, registration and inspection certificates and proof of insurance. What should I leave t home? 1. Non-prescription medications. 2. Excessive or expensive jewelry. 3. Exercise equipment, craft materials, musical instruments and irons. 4. Reading material (novels, magazines or publications) not related to recovery. 5. Cards, games and puzzles. 6. Stuffed animals. 7. Straight razors, razorblades, pocketknives, knitting needles, crochet hooks and metal hairpieces. 8. Aerosol products, including deodorant and hairspray. 9. Nail polish remover with acetone. 10. Mouthwash with alcohol. 11.Suntan oils or baby oils (substitute with lotions). 12. Products containing alcohol (i.e., mouthwash, aftershave, facial toner, perfume, perfumed lotions, etc). 13. Illegal substances and mood-altering drugs. 14. Drug paraphernalia. 15. Firearms and/or supplies. 16. Bring your tattoos, however, no “New” tattooing while at OMR. |
