We have been told by so many, including Judges, Medical professionals
and those involved in Treatment, that this I just the kind of thing that is
needed. To further elaborate on this; Once a person has been stabilized
medically (nowadays usually in a treatment center or sometimes through
the court system) they very often have no idea of how to re-enter society.
They are most often sent back from where they came. Sometimes this is

Skid Row
, other times to a Broken Home or No Home at all.

What usually happens is a return to the same behaviors they had
previously and the disease progresses. It always gets worse, never better.
It however can be arrested and people can live a normal life. The only
requirement is to follow a few simple guidelines. We strive to exemplify
this structure.

Alcoholism and addiction takes a terrible toll on individuals, families,
communities and society as a whole. This disease does not discriminate. It
is found in all neighborhoods and among individuals of all ages, gender,
ethnicity, income and education levels.

According to the latest National Survey on Alcoholism, Drug addiction and
Health, 9.8 percent of the population with past year Alcoholism or
addiction required recovery. This amounts to almost 60,000 individuals in
our primary service area; only a small percentage of these individuals
receive the care that they need.

OMR Recovery plays a vital role in providing a continuum of high quality,
very affordable and effective alcoholism and addiction recovery
residences, services and programs for people nationwide. Founded in 2007
as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, OMR has provided care to meet our
full capacity continuously. This simply means we are running out of
capacity much quicker than we are running out of those in need.

We need your financial support to continue to fulfill our mission. The
majority of our funding is derived from our residents contributions. Further,
the resident population that we serve is in many instances unable to pay
enough to sustain themselves. As it is our policy to not turn anyone (with a
desire and willingness to obtain sobriety) away, we are becoming more
non-profit everyday. We do not accept Medicaid, Medicare, Insurance or
any source of government funding.
We are totally supported by your generous contributions and those of the residents. Your
contribution will ensure that we continue to play a leadership role as one of the most
effective providers of structured living recovery. When you support us, you affirm the
work that we are doing and participate in solving a complex problem that harms
communities throughout America. Help us to help men and women addicted to alcohol
and drugs receive recovery and begin a new life.
If you are like most of us we get paid weekly. If you prefer to contribute monthly please click on one of the
